About Jordan
Jordan has worked with a broad population, including intensive in-home counseling, couples therapy, family therapy, individual outpatient counseling, and inpatient behavioral health counseling. He mainly uses cognitive behavioral therapy with a person-centered perspective as his therapeutic approach for individuals; when working with couples, Jordan focuses on establishing healthy boundaries, recognizing and changing patterns, Gottman-based approaches, and overall structure in the family unit. Jordan has worked specifically with clients to address ADHD, depression, anxiety, and marital problems.

Jordan received his Master’s of Education in Marriage and Family Therapy from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, where he also received his bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Psychology. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor.

Jordan has a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision that he uses to teach at several local colleges, including William & Mary and Virginia Commonwealth University. He also enjoys playing on the worship team, hanging out with his family, and playing video games in his spare time. Jordan likes to recharge by cooking, gardening, and reading novels.
